Deployment of BeetleBlock™ products

Open foil packages carefully. Do not puncture or cut the dispenser reservoir as this will lead to premature exhaustion of the device. It is normal for the surface of the devices to be wet when the outer foil package is opened..

Rubber gloves are recommended for handling these products. Staple or tack the dispenser onto the trees, puncture only the outer edges of the dispenser. With BeetleBlock™ Verbenone, attach nail or staple through colored plastic strip.

BeetleBlock™ dispensers are tacked on the north side of the bole (trunk) of appropriate trees at about as high as a person can easily reach.

Consider using a Hundle Hammer to attach the devices much higher on the bole If there are concerns about public access and the possibility that unauthorized persons might to tamper with these products,. The Hundle Hammer is also useful when treating very large diameter trees where multiple BeetleBlock™ dispensers are applied to one tree
