Use BeetleBlock™ Verbenone for protection of any pine species from Mountain pine beetle (Dendroctonus ponderosae) Western pine beetle (Dendroctonus brevicomis) Red turpentine beetle (Dendroctonus valens), Southern pine beetle (Dendroctonus frontalis), pine engraver beetle (Ips pini). BeetleBlock™ Verbenone can also be used on spruce for protection from the Northern spruce engraver (Ips perturbatus).

BeetleBlock GLV is an experimental product which has already shown promise as an additive to verbenone which repels and confuses pine infesting bark beetles. Research with GLV is ongoing. Recent results have indicated that GLV shows great promise as a low cost additive to Verbenone for repelling Western and Mountain pine beetles.
